This was my own version of the Chibi RWBY characters back when season 1 just came out. Then after season 2, they actually released their own version. Nonetheless, I had hoped to try and create a Season 2 version of their illustration - I still may, so watch this space. They did have some cool outfits then.
In Oz Comiccon from 2015 in Melbourne, Blake Belladonna (voiced by Arryn Zech) and Yang Xiao Long (voiced by Barbara Dunkelman)were kind enough to approve my rendition of this. I was hoping to get Monty Oum (creator of RWBY) to sign this himself, but alas he passed away a couple of months before this event. I did see him back in 2013 however - before my move down. I printed 2, and gave one to the girls to take back as my tribute to Monty. I kept the signed copy.
